CUI Lahore Code of Conduct :

In order to further improve the student discipline at the Campus, following student code of conduct is hereby notified which will be implemented with immediate effect. This Code of Conduct will also be applied to students’ guests and in case any student’s guest create any problem, the concerned students will be responsible and liable of punishment.

Non-compliance of this code of conduct may embark you upon starting from imposition of fine to expulsion from the campus.

Academic Honesty:

• Attend your classes regularly and be disciplined in every walk of life.
• Extend respectful behavior with teachers, senior students and staff.

Moral Responsibilities

• Always display your University Student ID Card.
• In order to inculcate esteem in personalities you are expected to wear appropriate dress and do not come to the University in a clumsy appearance.
• Observe the CUI rules, regulations, and norms.
• Behave in a dignified manner with your fellows.
• Observe cleanliness at the campus.
• Cooperate with the instructions of security staff and proctors.
• The students who eat snacks in green areas or in corridors or at any other place ought to dump rubbish in dust bins.

Prohibited Activities

• No one is allowed to take any type of food item in the classrooms.
• Do not indulge in political, sectarian and ethnic activities.
• Smoking, loud music, loitering, making noise and/or creation of general nuisance are strictly prohibited
• Possession, custody, access to liquor, drugs or intoxicants of any kind are strictly prohibited.
• Gambling appliances are strictly prohibited.
• Lethal instruments of any description, explosives or firearms are strictly disallowed.
• Causing damage to furniture, fixtures, and building structures in/of the University in any form may lead to a fine equivalent to the amount required for recovering the loss.
• Acts like fooling, abusing, quarreling, fighting, insolence towards others, and use of force is strictly prohibited. Indulgence in such acts, which may cause insult or physical injury to the students, teachers, officers, and staff of the CUI, Lahore campus or to any other person, is also disallowed
• The University will not tolerate sexual harassment and or assault. Violations will be adjudicated by the University and may be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
• Provocative still photography and video capturing with any type of device are strictly prohibited.
• Misbehavior with any teaching staff, administrative staff, security staff and other staff is strictly condemnable.
