Seminar on “Environmental Pollution and our Responsibilities in the light of Islam”

Dr. Farooq Abdullah (Lecturer Dept. of Humanities) participated as Speaker in the Seminar organized and headed by Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Farooqui (Head. Academics and Research Head COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus) at Room 6, N-Block., COMSATS University Islamabad Lahore on Wednesday, 11 November, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, The topic of Seminar was” “Environmental Pollution and our Responsibilities in the light of Islam” The program was chaired by Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Farooqui. in his lecture Dr. Farooq Abdullah said that Prophet Muhammad’s holistic view of nature and his understanding of man’s place within the natural world pioneered environmental awareness within the human beings 1400 years ago. In the closing words of the program, Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Farooqui said that "Prophet Muhammad has shown many examples through his Sunnah that highlight aspects such as healthy eating, moderation in eating and avoiding excesses which lead to wastage and contamination of food." We all need to adopt the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for the success of this world and the hereafter.
