Empowering Ideas: Fab Lab Inauguration Marks a New Chapter for COMSATS Lahore

We are thrilled to announce another significant achievement for the COMSATS University and Department of Chemical Engineering. Dr. Imran Hassan Naqvi (Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering) is appointed as Incharge of the cutting-edge Fab Lab which is officially inaugurated on November 3, 2023. This lab is a remarkable milestone made possible under the TAKEUP Project, funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union by the University of Saarland Germany.

Fab Labs are hubs for innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning. This state-of-the-art facility will empower not only chemical engineering but students, researchers, and innovators from other fields to turn their ideas into reality by providing access to advanced technologies, prototyping tools, and a collaborative space for experimentation.

The TAKEUP Project, supported by the European Union, exemplifies international collaboration in education and technology, fostering a spirit of innovation and knowledge exchange.
