Innovative Achievements: Chemical Engineering Event Highlights Student Entrepreneurship
On October 23rd, the Department of Chemical Engineering organized a remarkable event – "Showcasing of Entrepreneurial Skills" that left us all inspired. We were honored to have the Worthy Director of the Lahore Campus, Prof. Dr. Asad Hussain as our esteemed chief guest, gracing us with his presence.
This dynamic and innovative activity was brought to life through the joint efforts of the CPDP team, led by the visionary Dr. Imran Hassan, working hand in hand with the dedicated Undergraduate team, led by Dr. Muhammad Haris Hamayun, and the AIChE Team, under the capable guidance of Dr. Mehwish Batool.
The highlight of the day was the magnificent display of talent by our brilliant 7th-semester students who presented their posters and innovative products developed under the guidance of Dr. Imran Hassan.
But it didn't stop there! The event concluded with the distribution of certificates of participation, recognizing and applauding the hard work and dedication of all the participants.
To add an extra layer of excitement, the Department announced the top 3 groups among all the participants, based on the evaluations of our esteemed panel, comprising Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Farooqui, Dr. Imran Hassan, Dr. Muhammad Shahzad Khurram, Dr. Tariq Mehmood Raza, and Dr. Fawad Ashraf. Separate certificates of excellence were awarded to these exceptional groups, setting the bar high for everyone else!
This event not only showcased the incredible entrepreneurial talent within our student body but also emphasized the importance of practical learning and innovation. It's a testament to the future leaders and innovators we are nurturing within our campus. We are thankful to our HoD (Dr. Khaliq Majeed) and senior professors (Dr. Murid Hussain, Dr. Zakir Khan) for their support for the event.
We are also thankful to our students from all semesters for their active participation in organizing this activity. Let's keep the spirit of entrepreneurship alive and thriving!
