The Department of Chemistry, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus
is arranging an industrial visit to Sitara Chemicals, Faisalabad on
Monday, 5 October 2026. The visit is open to students of
BS3 and MS2.
Exploring Chemistry Beyond the Classroom
The theme under which the department runs its industrial engagement programme.
Visits of this kind close the gap between what a reaction looks like in a flask and what it
looks like as a continuous process running at tonnage scale. Students see the engineering
that sits around the chemistry — the vessels, the control room, the utilities and the
safety systems — and meet the chemists and engineers who run it.
