Director Holds First Introductory Meetings with Heads of Departments

Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, Director, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, held his first introductory meetings with the Heads of administrative Departments, setting the direction for academic growth, institutional development, and key priorities for the coming year.

The Director spent a very eventful first day at the Lahore Campus after joining back, meeting departmental leadership across the administrative sides of the Campus.

During the meeting, the Director emphasized the need for departments to develop with a forward-looking approach and to align their plans with the Campus’s future growth.

The meeting marked the beginning of a focused planning process aimed at strengthening academic and administrative units, setting measurable targets, and fostering greater individual and collective contribution towards the continued growth of COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus.

    Departments to plan with the Campus’s future growth in view rather than the requirements of the current year alone.

  • Measurable targets

    Academic and administrative units to set targets against which progress over the coming year can be assessed.

  • Individual and collective contribution

    Greater contribution from departments and from colleagues individually towards the continued growth of the Campus.

About the Director

Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas assumed charge as Director, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, earlier this month.
