A three hours workshop was arranged for the students of MS English at the department of Humanities, CUI Lahore campus. Ms. Javaria Farooqui organized this workshop to enhance the student’s learning and understanding on the subject of “Women’s Writing”. The invited speakers were Sana Munir, author of the novel Unfetterd Wings, which is included in the suggested reading list of the Women’s Writing module. Munir discussed the nuances of her novel in the context of our curriculum, which proved to be a fascinating experience for the students. The second speaker was poet Ramsha Ashraf, who talked about the multilayered aspects of feminist theory with particular reference to her subject position as a female poet, and to her anthology Enmeshed.
