Academic collaboration, teaching excellence and campus growth

Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, Director, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, continued on day 02 the introductory meetings with HODs and faculty members of various departments to strengthen academic collaboration, promote excellence in teaching and research, and set strategic priorities for the campus’s future growth.

During the meetings, the Director emphasized the importance of developing innovative, market-oriented academic programs aligned with industry needs and emerging trends. He emphasized that teaching excellence remains the foremost responsibility of faculty members and encouraged the adoption of modern teaching methodologies, creativity, and innovation to enhance the quality of education.

The Director assured all departments of his full support in addressing their academic and infrastructural needs, including computer laboratories, scientific laboratories, studios, and other essential facilities. He further highlighted plans for additional faculty hiring to strengthen academic departments and reduce dependence on visiting faculty.
