Breakthrough of International Funding Through European Union's H2020-MSCA-RISE-2018

European Union’s Horizon 2020 MSCA-RISE (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions-Research and Innovation Staff Exchange) has started funding with the kick off meeting on Dec. 18, 2017 for the PDE-GIR project (Jan 2018-Dec 2021) under grant agreement No. 778035. Computer Science Department of CIIT Lahore campus is representing from Pakistan through work package leader Dr. Zulfiqar Habib. CIIT is among the consortium of eight partners including an industry and International Universities from UK, Spain, Norway, Lithuania, Pakistan and Malaysia. Said project is in the area of Geometry modelling, Image processing, and shape Reconstruction (GIR). Participation of other members in this 4 years funding project is open for the graduate students and faculty of relevant area or members of VIG-Robotics group.
