Guft O Shaneed at Department of Architecture and Design

On Friday 4th March, 2016 the second session of "Guft O Shuneed" titled "Introduction to Classical Music" took place at the Art Gallery of the Department of Architecture and Design. Mr. Israr Chishti who is the head of Musicology Department at the University of Punjab spoke on the subject and demonstrated various styles of classical music to the participants. Mr. Israr also emphasized on the need to inculcate music appreciation in students for a holistic upbringing. The next session of "Guft O Shuneed" is titled "Why Study Philosophy" and is to be delivered by "Dr. Taimoor Rehman" on Friday 18th March, 2016 at the Art Gallery.
