Nanomaterials Based Sensing Platforms

Our group focuses on rational synthesis and functionalization of a wide spectrum of nanomaterials such as graphene derivatives, carbon nanotubes (CNTs), metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), quantum dots, metal oxides, black phosphorus nanosheets, nanoceria, and polymer-inorganic hybrid nanocomposites to serve as transducer materials or signal amplifiers in biosensor platforms. These materials are tailored for enhanced conductivity, surface functionality, catalytic activity, and biocompatibility.
