At Sensors and Biosensors (SBS) group, we are dedicated to advancing nanomaterials synthesis and biosensing technologies to address critical challenges in healthcare, food safety, and environmental monitoring. Our research focuses on shape-specific nanomaterials, carbon-based materials, metal nanoparticles, and biomolecules such as DNA, aptamers, and proteins. By integrating these materials into cutting-edge biosensing platforms, we enable the detection of viruses, DNA damage, food contaminants, mycotoxins, biomarkers, and physiological indicators like uric acid, dopamine, glucose, and ascorbic acid.

Our work has significant applications in wearable sensors, cancer detection, tuberculosis diagnostics, dental health, and food security, helping to develop reliable and efficient sensing technologies for real-world problems. Through interdisciplinary research, we are pushing the boundaries of nanotechnology and biosensing to create next-generation analytical tools.
