We are pleased to host Dr. Syed Ahmed Shah at IRCBM, and the visit is under the framework of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Fellowship. Dr Shah will be working with Prof Muhammad Yar TI at IRCBM. Dr Shad is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research, Polish Academy of Sciences (IPPT PAN), Warsaw. Dr. Shah’s research focuses on developing enzyme-mediated hydrogels designed to synergistically enhance the healing of damaged bone tissues and promote de novo bone formation. Dr. Shah began his research journey with a strong focus on developing, characterizing, and in vivo evaluating stimuli-responsive hydrogels for diverse biomedical and clinical applications. His work demonstrates a passion for creating innovative solutions with real-world impact, particularly in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
His remarkable contributions to the field of biomedical sciences have been recognized through several accolades. He was awarded the Erasmus+ Faculty Development Program at the University of Erlangen, Germany, and received the Research Excellence Award in 2022 and 2023 from Superior University, Pakistan. Dr. Shah’s visit to our institute enriches our collaborative efforts in biomedical research. In addition to advancing shared scientific goals, his expertise facilitates collaborative projects and student exchange programs. We look forward to fostering a vibrant partnership that benefits researchers, students, and the broader scientific community.
