About the centre

A university ecosystem where innovation can thrive

Entrepreneurship and innovation are viewed as key contributors to the global economic and social development of a country. University-based entrepreneurship ecosystems provide a supportive context in which entrepreneurship and innovation can thrive.

CUI, Student Startup Business Centre (SSBC) has been established with the support of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, and the Promotion of Education in Pakistan Foundation, Inc. (USA). The centre promotes student startup businesses through mentoring and initial financial resources from its Startup Entrepreneurship Fund, providing a continuous stream of student led businesses and innovations at CUI.
