ABOUT CUI LAHORE

A Campus Built to Teach In

COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus (CUI Lahore) is a premier educational institution located in Lahore, Pakistan. Established in January 2002, it has been dedicated to providing quality education and training to its students, with a focus on fostering their intellectual, personal and professional growth. The campus sits just twenty-five minutes from the main city, surrounded by a peaceful and serene environment.

CUI Lahore boasts an impressive infrastructure, with a 185-acre purpose-built campus that includes 400,000 square feet of covered area. From its red brick architecture to its lush green lawns and captivating landscape, the campus provides a supportive and inspiring environment in which to learn, equipped with modern classrooms, labs, multimedia projectors, internet connectivity and air-conditioned teaching space.

Study programmes span Information Science & Technology, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Business Administration, Social Sciences, and Architecture & Design.

OUR HISTORY

Significant Progress in a Short Span

2002

Established with a mission to provide quality education and foster academic excellence, the campus has made significant progress in a short span of time. With an enrolment of over 10,000 students, it offers 56 academic programmes across undergraduate and graduate study.

Faculty members hold PhDs from some of the world's top universities and are committed to providing their expertise and guidance to students. There are 14 academic departments, each staffed with highly qualified and experienced faculty dedicated to their students' success.

OUR JOURNEY

Part of a National University

The COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) was established in 1998 as COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), a project of the Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS). It was upgraded to a Federally Chartered University in April 2018.

Lahore Campus opened in January 2002 and has grown into one of the University's largest campuses, with 14 academic departments and more than 10,000 students on a 185-acre site.
