ABOUT OUR HEALTH CENTER

Comprehensive Healthcare & Medical Services

The Health Center at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus provides primary healthcare services to students, faculty, staff and visitors. It offers medical consultations, first aid, emergency care, basic treatment and referral services in a professional and supportive environment.

The center also provides medical assistance during university events, examinations, sports activities and other campus functions, ensuring timely healthcare support and emergency response when required.

The Health Center also promotes preventive healthcare through medical camps and health awareness programs across the campus. Our commitment is to ensure a healthy, safe, and supportive campus environment for all members of the COMSATS Lahore community.

Routine medical evaluation, diagnosis, and expert guidance for general health concerns.

Immediate initial treatment and stabilization for acute injuries and sudden illnesses on campus.

Illness & Minor Injury Care

Treatment for common seasonal illnesses, minor cuts, bruises, burns, and wound management.

Blood Pressure Monitoring

Regular blood pressure screening, tracking, and hypertension management advice.

Blood Glucose Testing

On-the-spot random blood sugar testing for diabetic screening and monitoring.

Nebulization Therapy

Respiratory care and inhalation treatment for patients with asthma or breathing distress.

Oxygen Therapy

Emergency oxygen administration for individuals experiencing acute respiratory difficulties.

Wound Dressing & Nursing Care

Hygienic aseptic wound dressing, bandage changes, and minor surgical care.

Injections & IV Therapy

Administration of prescribed intravenous (IV) fluids and intramuscular injections.

Hospital Referrals

Timely medical referrals and coordinated transport to tertiary care hospitals when required.

MEDICAL OFFICER & FOCAL PERSON

Dr. Mahnoor Rashid Khan

Serving as the primary focal person and Medical Officer for the Health Center at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus. Directing student and staff medical consultations, emergency care response, health awareness initiatives, and hospital referrals.

Key responsibilities: primary healthcare consultations and medical diagnosis for the campus community; managing first aid, emergency medical triage and ambulance dispatch; organizing campus-wide health awareness programs and preventive medical camps; coordinating tertiary care hospital referrals and event medical standby support.
