Industrial Visit to Sitara Chemicals, Faisalabad
The Department of Chemistry, COMSATS University Islamabad,
Lahore Campus is arranging an industrial visit to Sitara Chemicals,
Faisalabad on Monday, 5 October 2026.
The visit is open to students of BS3 and
MS2, and gives them the chance to see at first hand how the chemistry they study
in the classroom is put to work at industrial scale – from process plant and unit operations
to quality control and workplace safety.
The event is organised by Dr. Kanwal Rahid, under the
department’s theme of Exploring Chemistry Beyond the Classroom, in collaboration with
the Salimuzzaman Siddiqui Chemistry Society (SSCS).
