IRCBM Training Cell presented its 4th Dental & BioMaterials Summer Camp (30 July to 03 August 2018), bringing dentists, material scientists, clinicians, industry and students together.
Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Biomedical Materials (IRCBM) is the only research centre of its kind in Pakistan where 25 PhD scientists and teams work dedicatedly on Dental and BioMaterials, Tissue Engineering and allied fields.
Considering the response and interest of participants in previous three summer camps 2015, 2016 & 2017, IRCBM training cell now presents 4th Dental & BioMaterials Summer Camp (30 July to 03 August 2018) with the aim of bringing dentists, material scientists & other clinicians, industry and students together on a knowledge sharing interactive platform.
Program Includes
- Interactive Lectures on Biomaterials, Biosensors, Dental Materials & Tissue Repair.
- Interactive Sessions on clever experimental design and lab safety protocols.
- Laboratory Experiments: Engaging lab sessions on material synthesis, processing and evaluation.
- Material Characterization: Interactive sessions on SEM, FTIR, Surface Area Analysis, Mechanical Testing (Universal Testing Machine & Hardness Tester).
- Scientific writing and project design competition.
- Registration Fee: For Students PKR 10,000; For Professionals PKR 15,000; 10% discount available for groups of 5 or more
