MINI POCO 2017

The aim of the conference is to provide a better opportunity for young professionals and students to interact and collaborate to develop a better technological world. Conferences are used to bring together people with common interests and discuss issues and ideas relating to a specific topic. Conferences can be held on almost any topic, come in many sizes, and can be run by any number of organizations. IEEE Mini Panel of Conference Organizers (POCO) 2017 was inaugurated by Mr. Syed Raza Ali Gillani, Minister of Higher Education, Government of Punjab. He greatly appreciated the efforts made by CIIT and IEEE Lahore Section, IEEE CIIT Student Branch in holding this conference. He congratulated Prof. Dr. Qaiser Abbas (Director, COMSATS Lahore) for leading this conference and the team for its wonderful execution. IEEE Mini POCO was attended by over 120 participants from various universities such as, FAST-NUCES, Lhr & Faisalabad, UVAS, University of Lahore, Superior University and various campuses of COMSATS Institute of Information Technology. Dr. Sobia Baig (Associate Professor, E.E Dept and Branch Counselor IEEE CIIT Lahore Student Branch) was the Conference Chair, supported by EE faculty member team.
