Visit to Al-Rehman Switchgears, Lahore

The Collaboration and Outreach Committee (COC) at Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department CUI Lahore arranged an industrial visit to Al-Rehman Switchgears, Lahore on Monday, December 12, 2022, for the students of FA19-BEE-Power. 30 students visited the site along with following faculty members.

1. Dr. Muhammad Yaqoob Javaid (Assistant Professor, ECE Dept.)
2. Dr. Masood Jaffer (Lecture)

Students observed the production and mechanism of switchgears for power distribution and control. They were briefed about the working of switchgears for high voltage switching, distribution of electric power and the automatic tripping mechanism. Students appreciated the ECE Dept. for arranging this informative visit that helped them learn the theoretical working.
