Seminar on "Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship" by Mr. Sajid Chohan

A Seminar on the subject “Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship” was organized by the Collaboration and Outreach Committee (COC) on 2nd November 2022 in the A-block seminar hall by Electrical and Computer Engineering Department CUI Lahore. This seminar was attended by FA19-BCE, FA19-BEE, FA20-BCE and FA20 BEE batches. The presenter of this seminar Mr Sajid Chohan is an experienced sales and marketing coach having worked on senior positions in industry in the domestic sector as well as abroad. The seminar was opened by Mian Ahmed Yaser, who introduced the presenter and reiterated the need of this seminar. It was explained that 60% of the world economy is contributed by engineering products and services. So, it is imperative for the engineering students to have a clear vision of the business world they are going to face shortly. After recitation from the Holy Quran, Mr. Sajid Chohan took the podium and motivated the students to have a positive perspective of their lives and to learn to be happy. He explained the concept of higher failure rate in Sales. Furthermore, he talked about the ethical business practices, hard work and value of collaboration and empathy. More than 130 students attended the seminar. The seminar ended with a word of thanks to the speaker.
