EE Students win the First Phase of ERUPT 16 Competition

Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) had hosted a two-day business plan competition with the name of ERUPT'16 on November 22-23, 2016. The principle organizers of this competition were Plan 9 (A Punjab Information Technology Board Initiative) and Careem Cab Services. The same competition was being held at 14 other universities in Lahore by Plan 9 and Careem. 10 proposals/ideas were shortlisted in first round, three were from EE department. Out of the shortlisted teams, the final winner of the competition was the proposal titled “Patient-Centered Health Monitoring System for E-Services”. The team members of the winning team comprised of two EE students Ms. Hina Zafar Awan and Mr. Maaz Ahmad. The winning team was supervised by Dr. Mujataba Hussain Jaffery (Assistant Professor, EE).
