Workshop on Outcome based Education and ABET Accreditation for Faculty of Computer Science”

One-day workshop on Outcome Based Education and ABET Accreditation was successfully conducted on the 31st January 2018 at Kinara Resturant Gujrat. The objective of this workshop was to improve faculty’s understanding of outcome based education as it relates to the ABET accreditation process. The workshop consisted of sessions covering the following topics by following speakers:

• Overview of ABET Accreditation Process and Outcome Based Education: By Dr Zulfiqar Habib and Dr. Ghulam Rasool
• Curriculum Development: By Dr. Wajahat Mahmood Qazi and Dr Abid Sohail Bhutta
• Bloom’s Taxonomy: by Mr Nadeem Ghafoor Chaudhary
• Role of T.A.I by Dr. Ghulam Rasool
• ICEF development and Surveys: by Dr. Wajahat Mahmood Qazi and Dr Abid Sohail Bhutta

The sessions were interactive and faculty members learned through discussion and question and answer session. The workshop has helped in increasing the overall understanding of matters related to ABET accreditation and OBE.
