The Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA) held a seminar on Nuclear and Radiation Safety at CIIT Lahore on May 11, 2016 in the Seminar Room, Block A.
A seminar on "Nuclear and Radiation Safety", is scheduled on May 11, 2016 at Seminar room, Block A at 09:30 am by the Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA). A good number of colleagues at CIIT Lahore are working on different spectroscopic techniques, involving radiation of different frequencies and such interactive session will be very beneficial for them. PNRA came into existence in 2001 as an independent regulatory body with the mission to protect radiation workers, general public and the environment from harmful effects of radiation. One of the important mandate of PNRA is to inform the general public about the application of ionizing radiations in everyday life and their harmful effects on human health and the environment.
