Dr. Zahida Ehsan has been offered honorary position for the research collaborations at Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Maryland. The group is involved in experiments on dusty plasma, plasma diagnostics, and plasma-surface interactions where she will provide theory support and interact with the students and other scientific staff. These experiments are carried out to study lab and astrophysical behavior of plasma particles.
Also she is privileged to be the guest researcher (associate) of the Abdus Salam Centre for Physics Center for Physics - Islamabad. NCP operates quadripartite supervision of ICTP, PAEC, INSC, and CERN, and main purpose is to provide the state of art labs, particle accelerators and other infrastructure needed for theoretical and high-energy physics research.
