Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, Director, CUI Lahore, held seven meetings and visits on 23 September 2026 focused on academic collaboration, institutional development and student and employee facilities.
Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, Director, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, continued his engagements focused on academic collaboration, institutional development and improving student and employee facilities.
He visited the cafeteria and its allied facilities, the stationery shop and the tuck shop, advised on improved services and environment, and interacted with students about the sufficiency of facilities. Prof. Dr. Kashif (IA) and Prof. Dr. Shari’ah (IA) accompanied him.
Every meeting and visit
- Internees for IRCBM: Heads of Computer Science, Management Science and Media Studies met to facilitate IRCBM with internees for project planning, marketing strategies and media projection.
- Transport facility for employees: A meeting with the transport section on the transport facility available to employees of the campus.
- The library, and the IT behind it: Computer Science, IT Services and the Incharge Library met to improve the library facility and the support provided to it by the IT section.
- Pak Agro Fertilizer and Chemicals: Mr. Jawad Kazmi, Project Director, visited the campus for an important discussion.
- An animal house for the Department of Pharmacy: The Head of the department discussed the requirement and was advised to share the existing facility available at IRCBM.
- Updates on the solar project: The Solarisation Committee met the Director to review progress on the campus solar project.
- Lunch hosted by the transport section: The transport section of CUI Lahore Campus hosted a welcoming lunch in honour of the Director, closing the day.
The Director’s engagements continue across the campus, from academic collaboration to the facilities people use every day.
