Fourth-year architecture students of CUI Lahore won the 3rd national position in the PCATP design ideas competition for flood resilient shelter, with a project focused on Mangrotha Gharbi in South Punjab.
Department of Architecture CUI Lahore was awarded the 3rd position in the design competition for flood resilient shelter announced by PCATP. The winning students, Awais Khalid, Sara Aslam, Zara Shakeel and Mubeen Tariq are the students of 4th year architecture at COMSATS University Lahore who focused on flood resilient design in Mangrotha Gharbi, a district in South Punjab. Ms. Naba Ali Saad, assistant professor of architecture department along with Ms. Shajeea Shuja and Mr. Ghammaz Husnain supervised the project.
