Department of Mathematics, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Lahore Campus, comprises of 31 PhD Faculty members, working in diverse fields of Pure and Applied Mathematics including Graph Theory, Commutative Algebra, Mathematical Inequalities, Optimization Theory, Gravitation and Cosmology, Fluid dynamics, Geometric numerical integration, Numerical computation, Difference equations, Fuzzy Logic, Fluid Dynamics and many more. The department has produced 500+ MS Mathematics, 45 PhD Mathematics, and 6 BS Mathematics graduates. Currently, 200 MS Mathematics, 60 PhD Mathematics, and 250+ BS Mathematics students are registered in the department. The department did not limit itself to undergraduate and graduate programs but kept building its contacts with the International Mathematics Community by organizing International Conferences, Workshops, and Research Schools.

    We are pleased to announce that the Department of Mathematics at CUI, Lahore Campus is hosting One Day International Symposium on Mathematical Sciences to be held on December 05, 2024, where renowned international and national speakers will participate.

    The goal of this symposium is to disseminate the latest developments in Mathematics and related research areas. This event will be hosted by the Department of Mathematics, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, Lahore, Pakistan.
