Workshop on Relativistic Astrophysics and Cosmology
This workshop serves as an overview to one of the most beautiful physical theory named as General Relativity, proposed by Einstein in 1915. It aims to familiarize undergraduate and graduate students to basis and major aspects of this theory. This event will enhance the interest of young students and researchers in the field of gravitation. We hope to provide a forum where people can exchange their ideas and pursue future trends of research.
Workshop Topics:
Formulation of General Relativity as Einstein derived it, introduction to Relativistic Astrophysics, the bizarre characteristics of Black Holes, wormholes, the sheer scope and nature of cosmology and its posing of ultimate questions and the exciting prospect of gravitational wave detection
