Department of Computer Science showcased its Final Year Project Exhibition on Tuesday, 25 th June 2024. There were 14 teams of evaluators who thoroughly evaluated the students work. Each team consisted of three team members. Two internals – who were from the faculty of Computer Science and one external member – who was either from industry or academia. The students worked throughout their final year to turn the brilliant ideas into useful products which are considered game changing solutions for various community problems. The students presented their work to the evaluators through presentation and live demo of their web/mobile app solutions. They also made posters to showcase their work. There was a poster competition held along with this to encourage students to learn some other skills as well. There were total of 58 groups who presented their work, 25 teams from BS Computer Science and 33 teams from BS Software Engineering. After successful completion of evaluation process, top 3 teams from each program were selected as position holders and awarded prizes. The students also made posters of their projects. An internal team evaluated all the posters and declared three winners from each degree program. FYP Evaluation Day was concluded with a prize distribution ceremony Chief Guest Director CUI, Lahore Campus Dr. Syed Asad Hussain and Head of Department Computer Science Dr. Farooq Ahmad graced the event. The ceremony started with wisdom words from Director CUI Lahore Campus Dr. Syed Asad Hussain who congratulated all the students on successful completion of their FYPs and their degree programs. The certificates were also presented to the supervisors of the winning projects in recognition of their efforts towards their students.
