CUI Lahore Computer Science department conducted three successful and exciting events in Sports Week Fall 2022. These events were conducted by active society of COMSATS Lahore Campus- IEEE RAS in collaboration with ACM CUI Lahore Chapter. The Fiesta was named RAC FIESTA 2022. The events included the following: Console Games It was an event full of excitement as many young players participated. The games included TEKKEN7 and FIF2022. Entry Fee was PKR 300 per person. Winners were awarded with certificates and Cash Prize of 8000 PKR. Mind Games Mind Games included Chess and Rubix Cube tournament. The event took place on 20 th October. This was an open-tournament and the activities were enjoyed by all the students and international faculty at the campus. Entry Fee was PKR 300 per person. Winners were awarded with Certificates and Cash Prize of 8000 PKR and runners up with 5000PKR. Techno Hunt This was the most prestigious event and icing on the cake. There were total 8 teams which participated in the event. Every team had 4-6 students. The event was held on 21 st October and covered multiple locations of the university. The entry fee of 1000 PKR per team was charged. Students were given hints and cipher and they had to find the mascot (eva) of IEEE RAS and team alpha of CS department won. They were awarded 13,000 PKR Cash prize and certificates were distributed among them. RAC FIESTA was the most popular event by any department at student’s week. Social Media coverage by IEEE RAS CUI LAHORE Socials Squad and management was professional. Such events prove how competent CS students are. They rock in studies and co-curricular activities as well.
