Symposium

This symposium will benefit researchers from the industry as well as academia to showcase their contributions in making our world a smart place by enhancing the efficiency, productivity and competitiveness against the critical issues via widespread use of cutting-edge technologies that include mobile communication, big data, AI/machine learning, signal processing, wireless communication, wearable technology, game sensing, pervasive and mobile computing.

Besides, the symposium will also provide students an opportunity to get a deeper insight about the adaptability of 1) autonomous operation via a sensing technology, 2) artificial intelligence via a machine learning technology, 3) ubiquitous services at any time and any places via mobile technology, and 4) users-centric services via constant communication between providers and consumers.

A smart world is one that leverages on the power and the potential of technology to make human beings more productive; to allow us to focus our resources on activities and relationships that matter; and ultimately to improve health, wellbeing and quality of life. A cluster of technological advances is changing how people live, work and play. Since the world is progressing to ‘smart’ such as ‘smart car’, ‘smart home’, and ‘smart agriculture’. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is an engine for the implementation of ‘smart’. ICT systems and services have become important ingredients in the development of many facets of life – in one way or another future advancement on world culture, education, health, agriculture, transport and trade – is made through ICT systems and services.

Thus, this symposium provides a platform to exchange the exposure/knowledge that is necessary to develop new forms of connectivity, new types of digital relationships, and anchor opportunities presented by the greater integration of connected technologies into everyday lives.

List of invited speakers will be uploaded soon.

Aims and objectives:

  1. High-profile, leading-edge platform for researchers, academicians and engineers to exchange and explore state-of-art advances and innovations in the domain of Information Technology.
  2. Introducing the participants (faculty members, students and engineers) about the cutting-edge technologies that include mobile communication, big data, AI/machine learning, signal processing, wireless communication, wearable technology, game sensing, pervasive and mobile computing
  3. To aware the participants about the new tools and technologies for cyber physical and IoT based systems and to give the exposure about the computation techniques in the field.
  4. To train the participants about the requirement in advance research.
