COMSATS, Department of Architecture and Design Lahore participated in National Digital Design Conference ND2C

COMSATS, Department of Architecture and Design Lahore participated in the first ever National Digital Design Conference ND2C which held on 23 rd and 24 th of September 2017 in Islamabad. This is the first time ever that such gathering for designers and creative was planned where designers, professionals from academia, advertising, digital design firms of national and international level participated.

The event was full of positive energies and vibes and COMSATS students thrived in the environment and made full use of it by participating in talks, networking with design students and professionals and taking constructive workshop on Rapid Prototyping in Digital Design during the session.

Professionals from New York like Stefan Sagmeister Co-Founder SAGMEISTER & WALSH, Soness Stevens Speaker Coach is TED & TEDx speaker, Jane Austin Director of Design & USER EXPEREINCE at MOO few more gave highly knowledgeable, inspiration and motivational talks which were the highlight of the conference.

Making full use of the conference COMSATS students and faculty managed to do networking with industry professionals and Art Schools and academics like Indus Valley School of Arts, Aliya Zaidi Executive Creative Director SYNERGY DENTSU, Babar Sheikh Film Maker and Academic, Sara Moquim Executive Creative Director INTERFLOW COMMUNICATION. All the professionals and academics showed interest to collaborate and offer lectures and workshops to students which is a very promising start to liaison with other art schools and design industry. COMSATS Department of Architecture and Design is humbled and thankful to Respected Sir Junaid Zaidi for encouraging and campus director Respected Sir Qiaser Abbas for supporting the student and faculty participation in the conference. This effort was greatly appreciated by ND2C Management and Industry Professionals.
