Dr. Zahida Ehsan participated as speaker in the Joint ICTP-IAEA College on Plasma Physics at The Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics (ASICTP) Trieste Italy and at the Fourth National Conference on Space Science & Technology organized by University of Karachi.
Dr. Zahida Ehsan participated speaker in the Joint ICTP-IAEA College on Plasma Physics held between
7–18 November 2016 at The Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics (ASICTP) Trieste Italy
and presented her work related to “Dust in tokamak and crystals in plasma”. Her visit was sponsored by the
ASITCP, the Center was founded in 1964 by Pakistani Nobel Laureate Abdus Salam. During her last visit, Dr.
Zahida won prize announce by Prof. Ian Hutchinsons (MIT) on asking most penetrating questions.
A month earlier, Dr. Zahida Ehsan participated as invited speaker in “Fourth National Conference on
Space Science & Technology” (NCSS&T-2016)” organized by the Institute of Space & Planetary
Astrophysics (ISPA), University of Karachi, Karachi, Pakistan during World Space Week on 7-9, 2016. She was
also invited to visit recently launched Space Weather Monitoring facility at SUPARCO headquarters to
establish collaboration for the explanation of space weather data by her theoretical modeling of the space
weather exploration program.
