B.Design Exhibition 2023

This thesis project focuses on designing a new Urdu typeface inspired by city wall advertisements and influenced by the Kufic script. By studying and analysing various aspects of city wall advertising, including typography, colours, and boldness, as well as delving into the historical and artistic significance of Kufic script, a unique and functional Urdu typeface will be created. This project aims to capture the essence of urban culture while offering a visually appealing and Usability of Urdu typeface for diverse applications.
