DR Moises Riberio received his B.S degree in Electrical Engineering from Federal University of Juez de For a,MG, Brazil, and M.S degree and Phd Degrees in Electrical engineering from university of Campinas’s, Brazil in 1999,2001 and 2005 respectively. He was a visiting scholar at university of California in Santa Barbara, CA, USA in 2004,Visting professor(2005-2007) and assistant professor(2007- 2015) at UFJF. Since 2015 he is associate professor at UFJF. Also, he is Director of INERGE(Brazilian institute of Science and Technology for smart grid. He co-founded Smarti9 LTD and wariLTD in 2012 and 2015 respectively. His research interests include signal processing, power line communication, wireless communication, computational intelligence and internet of everything.
Abstract
In this talk, we will focus on recent advances related to hybrid systems based on power line communication (PLC) and wireless communication. Relevant issues related to physical layer security, energy harvesting, optimal use of both channels; and discussion about implementation of a hybrid PLC/wireless. Moreover, the talk will present INERGE and its opportunities for collaborations.
