HEC NRPU’S Approved for Energy Research Centre (ERC)
It is a matter of great privilege to report that ERC faculty members have been awarded 3 HEC 's
NRPU projects having cumulative worth of 18.6 million PKR under HEC NRPU 2021-2022
program. The details are given below:
- Dr. Bilal Ahmed as PI of the project titled “Bioethanol production from lignocellulosic
agricultural waste: bio refinery concept and its industrial implications” worth 3.7 million.
- Dr. Fawad Azeem as PI and Dr Sobia Baig as Co-PI of the project titled” Pre-farming
controlled crop assessment simulator to enhance the crop quality for optimum yield and
agriculture sustainability” worth 5.9 million.
- Dr. Tareq Manzoor as Co-PI of the Project titled “Design and analysis of high
performance energy efficient optoelectronics devices for Pakistan” worth 9 million.
