Seventh Symposium: Synergising Partnerships, (11-12 December, 2019).

The 7^th International Symposium on Biomedical Materials: Science & Technology Innovation and the Knowledge Economy was successfully held from 11-12 December, 2019 at The Nishat Hotel Lahore Pakistan.

The aims of the symposium were;

• Promoting interdisciplinary research & development in Biomedical Materials and allied areas
• Assessment of the state of science in Pakistan
• New age business models in the knowledge-economy for spinning out university research
• Public and private sector synergy & engagement
• Public engagement and knowledge dissemination
• Raising awareness - IP protection & exploitation
• Signposting - research & Commercialisation
• Engagement of all stake holders (scientists, clinicians and industry) on a singular platform
