Dr. Khuram Shahzad is actively involved in multiple bioinformatics-driven research projects in collaboration with Prof. Juan J. Loor from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign (UIUC), Illinois, USA. These collaborative efforts focus on the application of advanced bioinformatics, high-throughput sequencing data analysis, and systems biology approaches to address complex biological questions, particularly in the areas of genomics, transcriptomics, and functional data integration.
