The Pakistan–Australia collaboration developed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yar, between COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus and CANNENTA Pvt. Ltd. represents a long-standing and productive partnership focused on advanced wound healing technologies. CANNENTA has served as a key funding and industry partner for COMSATS over several years, supporting the completion and continuation of approximately nine research projects.

These projects primarily address critical clinical challenges related to burn injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, and antibacterial wound management, with an emphasis on developing safe, effective, and clinically translatable therapeutic solutions. The collaboration integrates academic research expertise with industrial insight to accelerate the translation of laboratory innovations into practical healthcare applications.
