The center for research in VIG-Robotics was established in 2011 at CUI-Lahore to provide a centralized and multidisciplinary platform for researchers of computer, Vision, Image processing, Geometric modeling (VIG), and Robotics. Center provides round the clock high processing resources to researchers by connecting them remotely with the central GPUs and supervision of foreign qualified experienced PhD faculty to graduate students. VIG-Robotics is successfully meeting the rapidly increasing demand of society, industry, and market in the domain of Artificial Intelligence, Video Analytics and Data Science for applications in hospitals, forensic departments, software houses, electronic & print media, safe city projects, security agencies, civil aviation, industries & offices, Pakistan air force & NESCOM, remote sensing, disaster management, GIS, OCR, and many more.
