Our mission is to provide a new generation of innovative researchers and quality teachers to the nation.
The Department of Mathematics, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Lahore Campus, was established in 2005 with the vision of providing the best mathematical education to allied departments. The department extended its vision to produce the best mathematicians and researchers by starting its own MS Mathematics program in 2008, PhD Mathematics in 2010, and BS Mathematics in 2013. The department is very successful in fulfilling its vision with the services of 33 Ph.D. permanent faculty members, which is the largest in its surroundings.
The department has produced 225 MS Mathematics, 13 PhD Mathematics, and 65 BS Mathematics graduates. Currently, 200+ MS Mathematics, 60 PhD Mathematics, and 250+ BS Mathematics students are registered in the department. The department did not limit itself to undergraduate and graduate programs but kept building its contacts with the International Mathematics Community by organizing International Conferences, Workshops, and Research Schools.
