The 3 ^rd Annual COMSATS Job Fair 2018

The 3rd Annual COMSATS Job Fair 2018 of COMSATS Institute of Information Technology was held on 21st February 2018. The objective was to facilitate the students as well as potential recruiters in hiring process a platform for both parties to benefit from. Around 50 renowned companies participated in the event. Prominent names included McDonald Pakistan, VIVO Pakistan, PTCL, Izhar Monnoo Group, Descon Technical Institute, WWF Pakistan, CURE MD, Crescent Bahuman, Century Paper & Board Mills, MiniSo Pakistan and NETSOL Technologies to name a few. Head ORIC, Dr. Robina Farooq inaugurated the event. In her remarks she emphasized on the need of bridging academia/industry linkages and expressed her desire to have research collaborations with the industry which can be beneficial for both. She also appreciated the efforts of Job Fair Team for putting up a great event.
Around one thousand students attended the event. The participating companies/industry offered jobs and internship to students. In their feedback they encouraged the efforts of CIIT and expressed their desire to participate again. Certificates and shield were distributed at the end of event among the participants and organizers.
