Ms. Hiba is an architect and Urban designer having five years of academic and professional experience. She graduated from COMSATS Lahore in 2012 with a gold medal and is awarded with Mehdi Ali Mirza academic excellence award from IAP. She has been a part of COMSATS DAAD faculty since July 2013. Since then, she has been coordinating design studio 3rd and 4th year and has been a part of some theory courses. She did a joint master degree in Urban Interior design from Politecnico di Milano and CEU San Pablo Madrid in 2017. During her master, she explored the interior or more precisely the “ground floor” of cities in a European context. The question of the left over or the "dead spaces" in contemporary cities, the importance of technology as a new layer in urban design, and the future of public spaces. Her interests lie in exploring the impacts of migration in major cities, the reaction that it brings onto the growth of cities and the ideas to overcome differences in public space.
