Dr.Hafiz M. Asif received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from UET, Lahore in 2002. Afterwards, he earned his MS degree in Computer Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) in 2007. He did his PhD in Communication Systems from Lancaster University, UK in 2012. He worked at HW Communications Ltd., Lancaster, UK for about 1 year as trainee engineer on different R&D projects. He also holds Chartered Engineer (CEng) status issued by the IET UK office. He is currently working at Department of Electrical Engineering, COMSATS Lahore as Assistant Professor. His research areas include visible light communication, space time block codes, wireless communication systems and computer networks.
