Syed Nasir Shah received Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from NWFP University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar. He did his Master degree in Chemical Engineering from Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences in 2008. In 2012, he started his PhD studies in Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS,Malaysia. During his PhD, his research area was De-acidification of Crude oil using ionic liquids. After successful completion of his PhD studies in 2016, he joined COMSATS Chemical Engineering Department.
