We are delighted to announce the “COMSATS Business Research Conference: International Conference on Behavioral, Economic and Management Sciences”, organized and hosted by Faculty of Management Sciences, Centre for Research, COMSATS, Lahore, Pakistan.

CBRC 2009 is a premiere gathering place for the insights, expertise and knowledge of academicians & business communities about Behavioral, Economic and Management Sciences. The conference welcomes academics (business students, professors and administrators), as well as corporate / government executives to share their work-in-progress research or completed research papers.

Accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings.

To submit a proposal, provide an Abstract or Complete Research Paper with the title, Authors name(s), addresses, and telephone numbers and email all these details to the Conference Chair at cbrc@ciitlahore.edu.pk & ABRC2009@gmail.com. All proposals will be blind peer reviewed. The “Best Paper” of the Conference will be recognized in the Conference Proceedings. The deadline for submission of abstract is September 30, 2009. Only electronic submissions are accepted.

Please follow the below mentioned schedule in order to ensure your participation in CBRC 2009

Authors of accepted papers or abstracts will be required to register by 10th October, 2009.

• For Pakistani participants registration fee will be Rs. 1000/- for students and Rs. 1500/- for other participants.
• For foreign delegates the registration fee is not required.

The registration fee includes the Conference Program, abstract publication, admission to all conference sessions and activities, refreshment breaks.

• Each participant would be given an official CBRC-2009 conference participation certificate for attendance affirmation/ authentication.
• All registered participants will be given a conference package containing CBRC-2009 research material.

Transportation, boarding and lodging facility will be free of charge for foreign delegates with in Pakistan.
For out of station Pakistani participants limited accommodations are available on a first come first serve basis.

• All submissions must adhere to the following guidelines:
• If you wish to have your Abstract published in the conference program, submit an electronic copy on or before September 30th, 2009.
• If you wish to have your paper published in the refereed conference proceedings, submit an electronic copy, Double-spaced, on or before September 30th, 2009, though earlier submissions are strongly encouraged.
• Papers will be reviewed and final decisions will be made and communicated no later than 10th October  2009. Revisions should be expected. Final manuscripts should be in required format, (see complete guidelines on monuscript requirements).
• Receipt of all electronic submissions will be acknowledged as soon as received.
• Manuscript submissions should include a separate title page on each copy, listing all authors, their affiliations, addresses, telephone/fax numbers and e-mail addresses, if available. For papers with multiple authors, indicate the author with whom we should correspond. List only the manuscript title in the main body of the paper, abstract, or proposal to allow for blind review.
•  All papers will be subjected to a blind review process. They will be judged primarily on the basis of original contribution to scholarship, overall quality, and interest to the Association's members. Reviewers' comments will be provided to authors when notified of the Program Committee decisions.
• Accepted manuscripts will be published in the conference proceedings only if at least one author gets registered.
