Mr. Hasan Qayyum Chohan, an early career research scientist, earned his Master’s study in Chemical Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), Lahore in 2015 in excellent grades. He also completed his Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore in 2013. Mr. Hasan was awarded Early Career Grant in 3^rd round from Association of Commonwealth Universities, London among 500 member institutes.

Upon Completion his masters in chemical engineering, he is working as Lab Engineer in the Department of Chemical Engineering in CIIT Lahore. He is instructing the students of B.Sc. Chemical engineering of labs of Chemical Reaction Engineering and Fuel Combustion. He is also working in Advanced Spectroscopy Lab.

Although working as lab engineer, Mr. Hasan is a key member of Catalysis and Materials group. He has presented his research work in the field of materials and energy in different national and international conferences including 8^th International Conference of Materials and Advanced Technologies, Singapore.
