Biography:

Imran Ghous has been a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Imperial College London, UK. He holds a PhD degree in Control Science and Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China, which he obtained in 2016. Prior to that, he earned MSc and BSc degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, Pakistan, in 2013 and 2011, respectively. Imran has a strong portfolio of securing highly competitive scholarships, fellowships, and awards throughout his academic career, which includes the Nanjing Government-Nanjing University of Science and Technology Joint Scholarship Class-A, the UNESCO/People's Republic of China (The Great Wall) Co-Sponsored Fellowship, the MSc full-time Scholarship, and the Best Research Award under the Elite International Scholarship Programme by the Ministry of Education, China. He has very active research collaborations with eminent researchers in the UK, Europe, China, and Korea. He actively offers his expertise as a reviewer in leading journals, has been a member of IFAC TC 2.1 and 2.3, and is a Professional Engineer registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council. His research interests mainly include nonlinear systems, 2D systems, biological systems, and switched systems.
