Dr. Muhammad Nasir did his PhD from School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST), Shanghai, China.

His research interests are primarily focused on Applied Chemistry, Sensors and Biosensors, Synthesis and Characterization of Nanomaterial, Multiferroic Nanoparticles, Drug Delivery, Photocatalysis, Metal-Organic Frameworks and Biomedical Materials.

Currently he is working on the

  • Synthesis of different metal oxides nanoparticles for their use in the efficient killing of the cancer cells, antibacterial surfaces and dental applications under UV and visible light irradiation.

  • Synthesis of multiferroic nanoparticles for their different biomedical applications.

  • Working on the Biomimetic properties of nanoparticles for Biosensors applications.

  • Developing different types of catalytic materials for organic synthesis.

  • Synthesis of nanocomposites for the degradation of dyes and organic compounds.

  • Study of angiogenic potential of nanomaterials for skin tissue regenration. 
  • Design and Synthesis of Novel Materials for Photocatalytic hydrogen evolution from water splitting

  • Synthesis and Characterization of Quantum Dots for Biomedical Applications
